About Bob Seger
With a career spanning six decades, Bob Seger has sold more than 75 million records, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in 2012.
In 2018 he announced his final tour, so unfortunately none of us can ever see one of his legendary live performances again.

The Band
This band is made up of 8 very talented and professional musicians, all with impressive resumes, all of whom love and feel connected to the music of Bob Seger, and it shows...but it is led by "our" Bob Seger...Steve Murphy.
Steve Murphy is a "singers singer"......the guy with a world-class resume and a voice to match. Asked to work as a vocalist in the studio with legendary producer Phil Ramone on a project for Elton John. He was a member of The Alan Parsons Project Live touring band for many years, touring in over 40 countries. He has also toured with Jack Bruce (Cream), John Entwistle (The Who), Eric Burdon & The Animals, Chuck Negron (3 Dog Night), Felix Cavaliere (The Rascals), Steve Augieri (Journey), Todd Rundgren and more...and his voice has been featured on dozens of national commercials including The Army's "Be All You Can Be" campaign.
The Business
BEAUTIFUL LOSER is professionally managed by Tom Porter and his company Great Tribute Bands. He will be your single point of contact from your initial inquiry to show time and will facilitate contract execution, liability insurance (when required), professional audio and/or lighting and is happy to discuss anything related to your event. We make it our business to make hiring this band stress free.
